And
an Assist from Tokyo Rico
While I was going through some old files I found these. During a shoot you shoot off polaroids to test how the light is going to look on the film. It's critical especially when you are mixing daylight and strobe light. While the model is in make-up the usual victims to get in front of the camera are your assistants. After the shoot's done they usually just get taped into albums, thrown in a box or discarded altogether. This was my second shoot with Venus and Rico was my Second. What I liked is that he took the whole process incredibly serious. The shoot lasted for nearly 2 1/2 weeks. Terry Lilley was again my First Assistant. February 2002 |
